Meet Our Staff
We are so fortunate to have a marvelous full-time minister and dozens of high-energy indispensable volunteers who make TLCUU the vibrant and nurturing place that it is. Take a moment to meet the people who fill our core leadership positions – our pastor and elected Board of Trustees. You can also meet our committee chairs and circle leaders on this page. TLCUU is an exciting and active community because of the strong leadership and dedication of these great people.

Board of Trustees
President: Susan Tyner
Many years ago, I met Mary at a festival. Introduced by mutual friends, we had questions about art, photography and religion for each other. After another meeting, I was surprised to find that Mary pastored a church that shared some of the things that I believed. I am a teacher and an artist, who does photography, painting and whatever other art strikes my fancy. I am married to Lori McClain and together we have two children, two dogs and two cats.

Bill Wendel, and his wife Heather, have been Unitarian Universalists for 15 years. He lives in Tipp City and is the father of two teenagers: Grace and Ethan. He is a former member of MVUUF where is also served as their Board Secretary for several terms.

In her spare time she enjoys performing improv at the Black Box Improv Theater and enjoying all that Dayton has to offer!
